The HCWA TwinMaster Lateral is a powerful variant of the TwinMaster range, designed for high-performance lifting with extended travel capabilities. It is ideal for demanding stage and scenery applications where precision, reliability, and safety are key.

The HCWA TM LD is available with variable speeds of up to 1,8 m/s, offering a load capacity of up to 1250 kg on ropes and a maximum travel distance up to 36 meters.

Both versions feature a patented double worm gear with a dual-output reduction system, ensuring full redundancy and exceptionally smooth operation. Designed in strict compliance with DGUV V17/18 and EN 17206 regulations, the hoist includes a gearbox-integrated safety catch for enhanced protection.

Like the rest of the TwinMaster range, the HCWA TM LD is built to meet both local and international safety standards and seamlessly integrates with a wide range of professional control systems, making it a versatile and robust solution for advanced stage and scenery lifting needs.

  • Fully redundant, two channel safety hoist concept with international patented double worm gearbox with safety catch
  • two motors, four independent theatre brakes, two encoders, and the balancer
  • Equipped with loadcell
  • Zero fleet hoist: no interfering rope angles
  • Compact hoist design of less than 340 mm, without mounting brackets
  • High precision positioning of the load is achieved due to large drum diameter
  • The steel frame inside the cast polyamide drum prevents drum collapse in event of a fire
  • Silent and smooth-running of ropes is ensured by cast polyamide drum (long life expectancy)
  • SIL3 ready and can be coupled with SIL3 control, such as ASM GENESIS SIL3 control
